31/7/2018 0 Comments Trip To MauiHey guys! I have just returned from my Hawaii trip! What a beautiful experience it was. I had been wanting to go there for a long time. I am grateful I could visit it in this life again. I know I had many lives on the Hawaiian Islands as we know it, and also on Lemuria which was one of the two big continents that existed here on Planet Earth.
We chose to go to the island of Maui. People say it's cleaner than the touristy island of O'ahu, and it's not as crowded either. I didn't want to go to a place where there's a lot of people, and Maui was actually the perfect place to explore nature. I was really excited to see and feel its vibe and energy, to rediscover it. The moment we arrived I knew it was the place for me. Very relaxing, perfect weather with warmth and a bit of humidity with some breeze. We travelled from Los Angeles so luckily the flight was just 5 hours long. We stayed for 6 nights and 7 days. It was essential to hire a car to be able to drive around the island, so as soon as we landed that was the first thing we did. Then we headed to our apartment that was located in Kihei. We were actually going to stay in Kaanapali/Lahaina area on the West side but we cancelled that place and we booked another apartment in Kihei last minute on Airbnb. Kihei is still on the West coast but a bit more South. I much preferred Kihei to Kaanapali after exploring both areas as it was more quiet and there were less people around. I also liked the beach there that was just a minute walk from the apartment. Needless to say we headed straight to the beach after arriving. We drove down to Wailea to check out the beaches there as well. It was a bit rainy on the first day but I didn't mind as it went away quickly.

17/1/2018 2 Comments From Amsterdam With LoveI started the year right by having a 4-day city break in Amsterdam, Netherlands where I had never been before. It was a last minute decision with my boyfriend so we jumped on the idea. And it was a great one. So we got our deal booked (flights + bed & breakfast). Amsterdam is only 45 minutes (!) from London so no complaint about that either. Our choice was the 4 star Hotel V Fizeaustraat that turned out to be lovely. From the airport we took an Uber that wasn't really far off from the hotel. When we got there we got checked in - the staff was so friendly. I really liked our room too and the whole style of the hotel. The Dutch style is cool, I like how modern but classic everything is.
I took the pictures using my new Canon G7X Mark II for the first time - love it! |
