What is a dream and why do we dream? We dream every time we sleep, although we may or may not remember it consciously. Our brain processes information that we have gathered from the happenings of each day, and other data we have in storage that we have accumulated from our lifetimes - both current and past lives. A dream is basically a vision while we are not consciously awake. Dreams can mean a couple of different things and there are different categories of what actually happens while we sleep. It is usually data unloading from our conscious mind that we no longer need or need to release; that can be a thought process or a combination of feelings/emotions. We can have dreams about our past lives as we access our subconscious while we sleep.
Feelings and emotions
Our dreams can be reflected by certain emotions and feelings of ours; the way we feel about someone or a situation, something that has been bugging us for a while, or even feelings that we suppress in ourselves that arise in a dream. Depending on what we dream, the situation, act of behaviour or certain objects can represent the way we feel deep down within. The emotions of fear or anger can be reflected by certain objects and/or actions in our dreams. It is also a way of getting rid of old attachments, frustrations, fear and certain feelings that we no longer need, sort of off-loading it.
Message from spirit
We can receive messages from Spirit during sleep when we are in our 'not fully conscious' state. Part of our energy always floats out and about while we sleep. Spirit from the other side (Second Dimension) can easily tune into our energy field either to give a message by showing us images what we call a vision, or to take us somewhere to see something we need to see that can be a particular place or situation. It is another way of having a vision. Spirit can also visit us in their true form to give us a message by showing a certain situation or imagery.
Astral projection
Also called as out of body experience. While we sleep, most of the time we travel out of body to different places in the Universe. We may or may not remember when it happens, or we remember it as a 'dream'. During astral projection part of our energy leaves our physical body with a silver spiral chord attached to it. This is how we find our way back to our physical body. Astral projection can happen in different ways using either our Scanner or Pineal energy fields when we have the intention to travel (even subconsciously) or look at something.
Déjà vu
Many people experience having a déjà vu, a feeling that we have seen a certain image before or as if we have experienced the same scenario/situation that happened to us before exactly the same way. In fact, why this can happen is because we actually see that moment happening in the future as a vision. This happens when we are in a relaxed and not consciously awake state, e.g. before we fall asleep or wake up from our sleep. As Spirit we can see an event months ahead in the future, and when it happens to us, we have the feeling we are re-living that moment. Seeing a future event can happen by using our Scanner and Pineal energy fields, without being aware of it.
Other types of vision
When we sleep and have a vision (dream), sometimes the imagery or a situation that we see can be very confusing to us and makes no sense. It is because our brain is being adjusted for thought processes in order to develop and grow metaphysically.
